The school's teacher, David Beletić, is a multi-award-winning diatonic accordionist and a lover of Slovenian music. He began learning at the age of 12 in Slovenia with famous names in the world of diatonic accordion – Denis Novat and Zoran Lupinac. He has won numerous awards at various competitions, and his favorite is the gold medal at the international and world championships.
David lives in Croatia and has been running a school for 60 students for seven years. His primary goal is to instill a love for the accordion and to pass on knowledge that students will be able to apply practically. In addition to basic knowledge and learning melodies characteristic of the diatonic accordion, David also explores the application of this instrument through modern melodies, thus trying to stay in step with new trends and generations to come. In the school, in addition to songs typical for the diatonic accordion, you will have the opportunity to learn popular Croatian songs, but also – if desired – modern songs that are not common for this instrument. If you want to learn a special song, no problem – we will provide the sheet music and adapt the composition for the diatonic accordion.
Lessons are held individually (1 on 1) and are tailored to each student, regardless of whether you are a beginner or already have experience. It is not necessary to know notes or own an accordion - you can rent one from us. If you fall in love with the instrument, you can later buy it - made to your wishes and measurements.
Classes are held at four locations:
Oprtalj – Mondays
Umag – Tuesdays
Pazin – Wednesdays and Saturdays
Buzet – Thursdays
Friday and Sunday are non-working days.
